2012 XC Schedule
Thursday (7-12-2012):
- Quick parent meeting Thursday 7-19-2012 at Reservoir Park under the shelter by the lake
starting at 6:00 PM for all parents who can make the meeting.

Thursday (8-2-2012):
- Pinecrest finishes 2nd in the App camp race to an out of state team. Good job everyone.

Wednesday (8-8-2012):
- The Alumni Challenge is next Wednesday. We will have the two mile race and then do a
cook out and pool party up at the Elks Pool. Anyone is welcome to come out and run with
us.

- The Alumni Challenge has been moved to Thursday 8-23-2012 because
of the weather.
Friday (8-17-2012):
- The bus for the Wilson Fike night relays leaves at 4:00 PM from the Pinecrest auditorium
parking lot. We are hoping to return no later than 1:00 AM Saturday morning. We will have
the athletes call when we are on our way home.
- Guys win the A Relay and Finish second in the B relay
- Girls finish 2nd in the A Relay and 2nd in the B Relay

- What a great day!!!
- Thank you for all the parents and athletes who came out for the alumni challenge. We had
the largest turn out ever for the event. We also had a great cookout and pool party
afterwards.

Saturday (9-1-2012):
- The bus is leaving for the Jungle Run race from the auditorium parking lot at 4:00 PM. The
race is at South View High School.
- Guys and Girls finished third in the Championship race and in the Invitational race. Next
race is Wednesday at Hoke High School.

- This is our first home meet of the season. All the runners get to experience the wonders of
the Elks club.
- The bus leaves from the school at 3:30 from up at the Field House. The race will be at the
Southern Pines Elks Club. Please park all course up by the pool, NOT down the hill.
- The Middle School Race starts at 4:00 PM. The Men's Race starts at 5:00 PM. If a parent is
willing to help direct middle school runners on the course please show up around 3:45 for
directions.
