Yearly Times Sheet GUYS
Announcement (11-9-10)
- Indoor Track will officially start on Monday 11-29-2010. Practice will be Monday-Thursday
from 3:40-5:15 and optional practice on Friday.
- Pre season workouts are going on up at the track starting 11-16-2010 for any athlete who
wants to start getting in shape for the season.

- All Guy's uniforms need to be turned into Coach Swofford ASAP
- The Cross Country dinner will be Tuesday November 16th at the Elks club starting at 6:30
PM. Everyone is invited. Guys tell Coach Swofford if you are going and how many people in
your party. The cost is 10 dollars a person, seniors eat for free.

- Great job another big victory for both the men's and women's cross country team.
- A lot of PR's were set at this course for the guys and girls. Jacob Troutman led the men's
teams and Beth led the girls teams.

Run-a-thon (9-18-2010)
- Great job everyone. We raised almost $3500 this year. This is the most we have every
raised. Keep up the good work.

Pinecrest Conference Meet (9-14-2010)
UNCW Seahawk Invitational (9-11-2010)
Hoke (9-7-2010)
- Conference races have begun and so has Pinecrest's dominance.
- The men win placing 17 in the top 20. Landon Sherwood won the men's race.
- The ladies also dominated by perfect scoring the race. Sarah Pressley won the female
race.

Jungle Run (9-4-2010)
- Great day for Pinecrest all around or should I say great night.
- The men's team finished 2nd in the Invitational and 3rd in the Championship race. They
beat all of the regional competition except for South View. Almost all runners set a PR.
Three runners broke 17. A number of huge break throughs by the Sophomore and
Freshmen runners.
- The women finished 2nd in the Championship race with a number of fast times. Jenny
Cunningham had the second fastest time ever for a Pinecrest girl with 19:15.

Saturday (8-28-2010)
- Women's team WINS!!!!!! They beat the best teams in the region at Wendal Park. Great job
ladies.
- The mens team finished fourth only getting beat by two teams in the region.

Wednesday (8-25-10)
- Practice times will change to 3:40-5:15 right after school starting Wednesday.
- All uniforms orders will be due by Friday of that week.
- We need physicals and sportsmanship papers signed by Friday also.
Patriot Challenge (8-19-2010)
- MEN WIN over East Chapel Hill, Union Pines, and O'neal. Senior Connor Kelly leads the
men.
- Women's finish second by 1 point. Sophomore Jenny Cunningham leads the lady Patriots.
- There will be NO PRACTICE tomorrow.

Parent Meeting (8-17-2010):
- There will be a parent meeting in the Pinecrest lunchroom starting at 7:00 on Tuesday
August 17th.
- This is a required meeting for all students who want to run Cross Country this fall.
- Parents need to be there in order to fill out all the paper work for the year.
Alumni Parent Challenge (8-12-10):
PRACTICE HAS BEGUN:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at Pinecrest from 5:30-7:00 PM
- Thursday and the Elks club from 5:30-7:00 pm
- When school starts practice will be after school from 3:40-5:15
