- The XC banquet will be held on Monday November 21st at Saint Anthony's. It will start at
5:30 PM. Everyone is invited. All athletes and parents eat for free any other guests will be
charged $5 to help cover the cost. If you have any questions please email Coach Swofford.

- Great job everyone at the state meet. The girls had the highest finished ever for a female
PC XC team. The guys finished 8th are a looking very strong for next year.

- The top nine guys and girls will be leaving for the regional meet at Southview on Saturday at
7:40 AM. Please meet us down by the auditorium parking lot.
- The XC Banquet will be held at Saint Anthony's on Tuesday November 15, 2011. We
encourage everyone to attend.

- This meet was schedule to be at Scotland. However, Scotland high school has changed
the location of the meet to Saint Andrews college. To get to the college you continue on 15-
501 right past Scotland. About five minutes down the road Saint Andres college will be on
your left.

- Great Job everyone. The course was a little muddy from all the rain and the bugs were
bitting but we all still rain good. Perfect score for both guys and girls.

- Lots of PR's for everyone at Scotland. Remember we will race there one more time. Keep
focused and you well set another huge PR.
- Those who signed up for Hagan Stone this weekend should be ready to leave Pinecrest at
6:30 AM from the auditorium parking lot. If for some reason you can't make it talk to me or
Coach Buchholz so we can take your name off the list.

- Great Job everyone. It was our last race at Elks for the year and everyone did great. Both
teams perfect scored the competition.

- The Jungle Run results are in and Pinecrest did great!!!!
- Guys and Girls finished third in the Championship race.
- The guys only lost by 9 points to Millbrook and Orange. They beat everyone in their region
including number three in the state South View. They were lead by Chris Kelly and Becket
Killam who crossed the finish line virtual together setting huge PRs.
- The girls lost to West Johnston and Carboro beating all other teams in the region. The girls
were led by Jenny Cunningham in 19:45.

- During our Pre-season coaches meeting with the other schools in the conference we
noticed some differences in the schedule.
- So the up dated schedule is linked HERE and I will fix the imaged one this week.

- We are leaving for South View to run the Jungle Run at 4:00 PM on Saturday
- Here is the MEET INFO for all parents who are driving up by themselves.
- Usually it is five dollars to park at the event site so please be prepared. You may take your
athlete home from the race but we must see you in person and you must sign out before
they can leave.

- XC Parent Night is Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Pinecrest auditorium.
- This is a state required meeting for all XC Parents. We will try to keep the meeting under 30
minutes.

- The Fundraiser (lapapoluza) has been moved to September 8th right after school.
- We hope to get more students and PARENTS involved. Come out and enjoy the cook out
with us and the team.

- Meet at the Elks. Athletes need to get there by 4:30 to warm-up
- POOL PARTY AFTERWARDS. Hot dogs for everyone.

- Next week the only practice with a coach will be at 5:30 PM at Pinecrest except for Thursday
which will be a 5k race at the Elks club.
- Tuesday and Thursday is mandatory practice for everyone at 5:30 PM.
- Those who have rides can meet at 9:00 AM at the normal summer training location Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday but there will be no coach there to supervise in the morning.
- Call me if you have any questions.
- Everyone needs to have a physical right now in order to be practicing.

- No 5:30 PM practice today Friday.
- I hope to see everyone tomorrow at 5:30 PM for the parent/alumni challenge.

- Here is the most up-to-date schedule for this season. CLICK HERE
- There might be minor changes based off of transportation issues but this is the schedule
we hope to have.
- First official day of practice is Monday the 8th up at the Pinecrest Track at 5:30 PM. For
those who have been running in the morning we will continue running in the morning until
Monday the 15th and then we will switch to 5:30 until school official starts.
- Once schools starts we will have practice at 4:15 right after school till around 5:45.

- We are back from camp. We had a great camp.
- We are starting to practice on Fridays now. We will be meeting at 9:00 AM at Pinecrest on
Fridays.
- Everyone needs to start coming out as the start of the season gets closer.

- If you are going to camp we are leaving at 9:00 AM in front of the Gym on Sunday. Make
sure you have your physical, camp code of conduct (signed by a parent) and yellow card
with emergency info on it.

- Each day we meet at either 9:00 AM (Coach Swofford) or 5:30 PM (Coach Buchholz).

- Tuesdays at the outside hockey Rink at Wicker Park
- Wednesdays at Pinecrest on the Track
- Thursdays we meet at the Southern Pines Elks club
- No organized practice Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
- Everyone is welcome new or old members of the team
